United Societies of Balkans (U.S.B.) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation working in the field of youth, human rights and intercultural dialogue.
It was founded in 2008 by the inception of a group of active young people who wanted to address the social issues which affect the youngsters in the Balkans and Eastern Europe. The vision and aim of the organisation is the promotion of youth empowerment, participation in the economic and political life, youth mobility, voluntarism and human rights.
Key areas of the organisation’s activities concern the defence of human rights and the intercultural dialogue, the organisation of youth related projects such as youth exchanges and training courses, which can bring young people from Balkans and Europe together, and the organisation of local interventions, campaigns, researches, seminars and multimedia productions. It envisions a global and inclusive society, where citizens are equally empowered to contribute in the shaping of a world with less prejudice, discrimination and other forms of injustice.
U.S.B. is the leader partner of the V4V project, being responsible for the partnership management and coordination. They also stay in touch and report to EACEA and support other partners in all their activities.
Autokreacja was founded cause we love to work with people. Our aim is to promote and support initiatives that foster active participation of all citizens.
Our target groups include youth, people facing risks of social exclusion and marginalisation, people with lesser abilities and coming from disadvantaged groups, migrants and polish repatriants from former soviet union.We organize workshops and trainings that help people voicing their opinions and highlighting their points of view through use of creative methods of expression, such as video and image storytelling. We also offer CSR services and trainings on internet literacy and entrepreneurship.
In V4V Autokreacja is responsible for dissemination and exploitation of project results. They run marketing campaign, manage project’s social media and design communication materials, as well as the website of the project.
Per Esempio Onlus is non profit organization established in 2011 by a small group of young workers aiming to develop actions promoting social inclusion and community empowerment.
Our main goals are to empower individuals and communities and to enhance social inclusion of people with fewer opportunities.
We implement our activities involving people from disadvantaged areas of the city of Palermo, such as the neighborhood of Ballarò – where our premises are located – Borgo Vecchio and ZEN. These are the places where we also implement international mobility projects for young people coming to Palermo from all over the world. We use a non formal education approach (learning-by-doing, peer education and active participation).
Field of action: Educational deprivation; Education and Volunteering for Youth; Gender Empowerment and Adult Education. In V4V Per Esempio leads the preparation and development of good practices and innovation guide.
Merseyside Expanding Horizons (MEH) is an established voluntary and community sector organisation working in the field of social inclusion.
MEH focus on Social Inclusion through partnership to deliver projects supporting disadvantaged individuals into employment, training and self-employment and social enterprise development through a wide range of informal learning methodologies, we deliver services to and support a range of excluded groups.
In our project MEH is in charge of structured dialogue and policy recommendations work package and therefore, they will coordinate the partnership about the meetings with stakeholders and are responsible for the creation of policy recommendation paper.
Sende is a rural co-working and co-living space, located in the Spanish mountains on the border with Portugal. Organization that creates social impact through activities focused on social entrepreneurship, conflict transformation and peace-building.
Sende uses innovation and creativity in order to re-design the life in small villages. They run trainings on conflict transformation, social entrepreneurship and innovation, as well as social media and new methods of marketing.
Sende leads the evaluation and quality control of the V4V project. They’re in charge of QC strategy and monitor all data acquired throughout the project and provide evaluation reports.
